I ripped a DVD to SVCD and popped it into my friends stand alone DVD player and certain parts of the movie were jerky. I tried it on my DVD rom drive with PowerDVD and I got the same results. I came here and searched all the forums and found numerous topics about people getting jerky video. I couldn't find anything about a solid answer to the question, only a lot of suggestions. First off here was my process:
DVD->DVD2AVI(non Force Film)->TMPGenc(MPEG2)
I discovered that if i just encode the video (no audio) I don't get the jerkiness. WOOT! Wait no audio, hell f*cking no! ARRRRR
Please Someone tell me how to fix this so I can start ripping like crazy. Already got the menu ripping down PERFECTLY ^_-
THANKS TO ALL WHO READ THIS
